It is very interesting. It is powered by a 1.5 horsepower motor that has the aura of the time that it was installed. Very lo-tech with a space-age control panel that was reminiscent of some of the earliest TV remote controls. The big fear, I gathered, was that the motor would burn out and have to be replaced. As I recall it could be adjusted to rotate a full turn in an hour which is barely perceptable (sic). The house had been "updated" and needless to say, all of the plumbing was contained withing the center column. There must have been some sort of track system with the electricity. You could turn it off.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7206120578266217391.post-20397635018005888892008-06-26T14:26:00.000-04:002008-06-26T14:26:00.000-04:00I could see myself living in a house like that, bu...I could see myself living in a house like that, but the revolving part worries me.

How exactly does it work? Does the house just revolve all the time, or can one turn the revolve feature on and off? The latter, I would hope.Tamarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00360876494810611160noreply@blogger.com
