What a great article.
The principles underlying the Bauhaus approach to home construction and design are more relevant than ever, as more and more folks seek beautiful, comfortable homes that are energy efficient, green, and great to live in.
This is great, the house is too. I've been twice, once to just walk around the outside and the second for the tour.
This is a definite must see for anyone interested in architecture in general and in the modern movement specifically.
While New Canaan gets a lot of well-deserved press for it's iconic modern heritage it must be said that Lincoln was there first. It has, just down the street, Marcel Breuer's first house plus others designed by the predecessors of New Canaan's Harvard Five (+).
